Gionee Product Take Back & Recycling Initiative
At Gionee, we understand that our responsibility doesn’t end at selling you our products. Gionee has been working in the area of safe disposal of electronic waste; since, mobiles, tablets and other electronic items are made of hazardous constituents. Under our global policy as well as the legislation passed by the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), called E-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011, which came into effect from 1^st May 2012.

Gionee will seek shared responsibility and cooperation from customers in reducing the environmental impact of their products. Gionee will comply with all the applicable laws related to e-waste management.

3R Recycler - As a part of e-waste recycling initiative, Gionee has partnered with 3R Recycler, India’s leading Electronic Asset Management Company to comply with E-Waste Management and Handling Rules. The objective is to provide environmentally sound management of electronics.
As a part of the partnership with 3R Recycler, the company will provide e-waste drop off centres and ensure environmentally sound management of electronics that have reached their end of life. 3R Recycler has obtained all the necessary authorisations from the appropriate government agencies for their processing facilities.
